Filling considerations

One of most important decisions you'll make is selecting the ideal equipment for filling your anchors. We recommend one of the following methods:

Gas powered portable pump
a simple, mobile, and cost effective solution for filling anchors at up to 250 gpm

In-board pump
installed on your houseboat, this system outputs up to 350 gpm, allowing you to fill two anchors at a time (houseboat will likely need to be out of the water for pump installation)

SeaDoo® conversion kit
a custom designed kit to quickly convert your SeaDoo Brand PWC into a powerful filling station. 5 min. install and un-install. 400+ gpm

How much do they weigh without water?

The anchor weight varies between 50lbs and 100lbs when drained and packed properly. Factors that will add significant amount of weight are from not draining and cleaning properly as wet sand will get trapped between the anchor an its bridal (ground sheet). Being thorough and patient during the draining and packing process is key to keeping the "dry" anchor weight down.
